Fall Time

One thing is for sure Illinois has a beautiful fall. I didn't get to see it much last year cause I was inside with Abbi since she was so small. This fall has been beautiful and Abbi loves playing in the leaves. In fact she just loves being outside.



Everything is going well up here. Tyler has completed 1 of his classes this semester, it was a mini term, so now he has 3 mre to finish up. Things at the church are going well. We are getting ready for our big Christmas party for the youth. I think we are going to do a progressive dinner this year so that some of the youth get to know some of the older, "wiser" people in the congregation. Abbi is growing like a weed. She is learning small little words and pronouncing them better now. She has 4 teeth in now....however it is not the 2 middle top and 2 middle bottom like you would expect. Instead she has 2 middle bottom and her 2 "Eye teeth" (Fangs) it is so cute when she smiles she looks like a hillbillie. (Texas roots)



We miss everyone back home and hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Stop for a moment to thank God for all the blessings He has given you this year. Every breath is a gift from God he deserves all the glory.

Abbi's 1st birthday party

Well I have been trying to get a video to load of her 1st birthday that showed how Daddy helped Abbi get started on the cake eating. However, I think it is to big of a file so if anyone would like to see it they can email me @ servantgirl4him@yahoo.com and I will try and send it that way.

Abbi is 1 year old! She had a great birthday party and got a lot of clothes which was good. Now she doesn't have to keep going around naked...just kidding. Below are some pictures of her birthday party since most of you were not able to make it (I'll adlib some of her thoughts as always).

First Steps

Well the summer has been extremely crazy up here. We have been to Texas and back, had family here, been on a mission trip, youth conference and camp. But to top it all off Abbi took her first 2 steps today!!! We were so excited just watch the video.

I know I haven't posted in awhile so here is all that you have missed...

• She has been on her first trip to Texas
• She has been on her first mission trip to Kansas/Nebraska
• She is eating anything you put in her mouth or anything she puts in..even if it's not digestible

• She definitely knows her name and the word NO

As far as the rest of us.....Tyler is getting ready to start school on September 8th. He is still working at Mcdonalds and the Church. I am still working at Mom's Milk Boutique and keeping up with Abbi. And Riley is losing alot of weight. The vet said she had to lose 80 pounds cause she was 114 pounds when we took her in...that's good compared to the 135 pounds she weighed when we got her. She is looking good though.
